Keris is synonymous with the history of Hindu kingdoms in Indonesia, and until now attached to the indigenous Javanese culture. All kingdoms in Indonesia has called heirloom keris. There is a straight dagger and some are meandering, there is even a gold plated as owned by the Kingdom of Bima, Demak, Singosari, Pajajaran, Kutai and Majapahit. Batik and Keris both equally recognized by UNESCO as world cultural heritage. However, the presence of batik keris is not as popular.
